Super quality vise, this vise is precision machined, it has the pad under the front jaw to keep the jaws aligned, very nice for building things as it will hold them level and tight (for sawing). I hope quality items like this continue to be manufactured, I highly recommend this for things like gunsmithing (metal work, small parts, even machining). You know as well that there are vises in a completely different price range so if you are looking for this style of vise the 5 star rating is deserved.
