The most affordable full refit kit for a dryer I found on the site. Not knowing exactly what was wrong it made sense to replace all the parts and buying individually was expensive compared to this kit. I wasn't prepared for the universal aspect of it though. I thought it would be just like all the parts on my dryer, but I ended up having to cut the wires and install the adapter ends to work it out. After reading the instructions a few times and looking at all the pieces: the instructions were like if you have the 3/8 use the 1/4 and put it on the male/female end and blah blah blah, but I finally figured it out!!! Our dryer heater was getting weak, would have to run it twice sometimes. This rebuild kit worked great. Fitment was spot on. Time will tell how long it last. Part numbers were nearly identical to an appliance warehouse website.

The heating element was easy to install and works just like it is suppose to. It did'nt seem to come with the same hook up as my old part, so I used used the old hookup piece and it works just fine. I am happy with it.

We'd been experiencing some reduced heating/drying capacity in our dryer for a couple of months. After cross-referencing the part number of a replacement heating element, I was dumbfounded by the range of prices being asked for the heating element from various sources. I think I saw some elements from as high as +$150, and to as low as $18 - which is what we eventually purchased our unit for. I've replaced dryer heating elements in the past, and it's remarkably easy. This unit was even easier to replace, given it's more modular construction in comparison to other elements in the past. I'd say the whole swap/repair took less than 20 minutes, and probably would have taken even less time - except the dryer location was a little tight, plus the lighting was pour, plus I can't seem to see in quite level of detail as I could in the past. The biggest challenge turned out to be swapping out the thermostat - which should have been easier than it was (blame it mostly on eyesight issues). In the end, the element went in, the dryer got buttoned up - and the new element fired up and produced improved heat on the first try (after plugging the dryer back in . . .).Read full review

This replacement worked excelent. It was just conect it and that's it! I don't have any knowledge about how to repare a dryer, except some youtube videos. I avoided to spend $400 in a new dryer. This item fitted and worked like new.
