I am convinced that the reason why so many of these rocker arms on the Dodge 3.6 Pentastar engines fail is because there simply isn't enough oil up in that area. So merely replacing the failed rocker arm did not cure the problem, and soon I had to go back in there and replace another rocker arm! So I went from 5x20 synthetic oil to 5x30 synthetic oil, and I disconnected the wires going to the solenoid in the oil pump that throw it into low range once the engine warms up, and it originally stays in low range then until the engine revs over 3000-3500-then it goes into high range. Now with the wires disconnected the oil pump stays in high range all the time, and instead of only about 25 lbs. oil pressure at highway speeds-now I have about 65 lbs oil pressure.
