My wife's grandmother wanted this game, as a way for us to all play together on Wii and enjoy some classic trivia. So, we bought it and immediately popped in teh disc and began to create our "profiles" - which, by the way, we were very disappointed in not being able to use our Miis. This is one of the great features of the Wii console! Once we had out generic avatars selected, we began a classic multiplayer game... and we tried to play it as well as we could. The makers of this game should be ashamed of themselves for their poor development of this board game classic. For one, the questions are in a typeface so tiny that even on a large screen HD television set, we could not read them from the couch/chairs we were sitting in. I had to stand a couple feet from the TV and quickly read them aloud to the room - which does not bode well for people with auditory processing impairments. For my wife, it is easier for her to read questions herself - yet she could not see them! Secondly, the timer on the game is so quick and counting down, that we did not have time to read the questions and all four answers (when they were words) before the timer ran out. The photos used for the responses were also very small. In fact, most the of screen was taken up by non-question related game play space; the tokens, the avatars, and the timer. This made for extremely difficult game play. Also, this should be a fun game for the family, and yet, not giving proper multiple choice for geography questions really hinders those who may know the correct answer's name but not necessarily where it is on the map. What a pain for my wife's grandmother! Overall, the design of this game is horrendously poor. Poorly thought out and poorly implemented. It doesn't make use of the Wii system for anything other than rolling the dice. I think we are going to stick with the traditional board game for this one!Read full review
Disappointed in this game. I'm a big Trivial Pursuit fan but this doesn't work well on the Nintendo Wii platform. The printing is too small to read from a distance and the announcer's constant snarky commenting is disagreeable. It is much easier to just get out your board, tokens and dice and play the real game

I like that I can enjoy it either alone or with my husband and it stimulates my growing old brain! Some of the questions are near impossible to answer but that's what guessing is for. And if you think about the question if it ever comes up again you may remember and therefore have learned something. Exact questions rarely repeat themselves but different questions about the same thing occasionally do so REMEMBER the ones you miss! Might not be too much fun for children under high school although certainly appropriate. The single player game takes about 30-40 minutes. The regular game can take up to 2 hours. The quicker two player games are really fun ! So glad I got this but I really should play something with more exercise or start jumping up and down when I am correct on this!
We really enjoy the game, my fiance and I enjoy trivia games and more things we can do on the wii. The challenge mode and the quicker games make it more enjoyable for us and our busy schedules. When playing with the movie questions they tend to have too many Japanese based movies which can damper the fun a little bit, but other than that a fun game for couples or families that like to do things together.
The game is pretty cool with the graphics and colors, but some of the questions are tough. No real drawbacks with this game except for the size of the text. You have to sit fairly close to the television to read the questions so there will be some eye strain playing this game. Other than that, my wife and I played two games after we received it and we both like it.
