What A Great Product - Here's Why
The Pros: Superb filter! The filtering process and method used when making coffee is not always easy to attain. Unless you have this type of filter. The paper works like a screen that only lets through the components of the hot coffee/water mixture that are desirable. Thus you get a coffee free of grounds or sediment. This filter removes oily components called diterpenes; these organic compounds, present in unfiltered coffee are known to be antimicrobial and anti inflammatory. Metal or nylon mesh filters do not remove these components. But they taste bad. This is why this exact type of paper filter was used on the NASA's Space Shuttle. It was used to feed a reagent into the CO2 scrubbers to reconstitute breathable air and again at the final stage as the clean air is released into the cabin. That's how good these filters are. In addition to being an excellent filter material, its other great attribute is its ability to maintain its original shape and consistency. That's why it won't dissolve in very hot water and it can be washed and dried multiple times. I had to do that when I ran out and didn't have any more stored. The Con: Due to their small size, this product is only ideally used on an AeroPress. But... that's what it's all about.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product. Very good tasting coffee; best that i've had. The instructions are sparse, so one needs to experiment with how much coffee to use, with a specific amount of water.
