I love this unit, not only is is silent but for the amount of flow it puts out, its great for the money. I recently purchased another when I upgraded my tank. Used the first one in my Fluval Evo 13.5, it worked great!

This is a great circ pump HOWEVER, if you have a sand bottom tank, I HIGHLY advise removing the magnets from suction cups mounts or wrap the magnets tightly with plumbers Teflon tape to prevent scratching. I removed the magnets and use suction cups without the magnets. If you drop the suction cup on a sand bottom tank, you'll need to rinse the sand out of the magnet or it will scratch your tank.

The shipping time was decent, but the box was smashed because the shipping container wasn't rigid. It also came with a candy, I think it's a sign of pleasantries, but I find it strange. The pump makes a nice steady stream, even though this was the lowest powered one on the market, I still find it's jet a little strong. Solid product with magnetic attachment, a definite plus.

Great little pump Small and quiet Good flow but not too much for my 20 hex (guppies, shrimp and plants) A reef 20 gal would need 2 or more. The fish π love to play in the current and the flow (note weird shape of the pump) disrupts the surface with ease.

Itβs pretty good but if ur looking for good flow in a 29gallon I would go with the 450 model because the 245 is good but not that much flow for my 29 but overall itβs pretty good
