Perfect for HO slot cars!
While looking for a case large enough to hold a small collection of slot cars (30), I found this item. Not only is it the perfect size for slot cars, the pockets are deep enough to hold a small amount of accessories like tires. The cubbies don't allow spillover and two are long enough to hold longer cars or oil bottles with spouts. *update* August 2020 I purchased another case, from a different source. If you race and have a small collection (less than 50), this is for you!

Great case with lots of versatility. Sturdy.
I use these things for my hot wheels collection. Cars fit perfectly. Handles are comfortable and easy to carry. Clasps stay closed securely. I've seen these used for sewing thread and other small Nick-Nacks and don't see any reason why they wouldn't be perfect for that. Transparent plastic is very clear to see through. Keep in mind that with doors on both sides, you will be turning the contents upside down frequently, so if whatever your carrying can't be tipped over, you might want a different style container. I have 10 of them and have used these things for 10 plus years without getting rid of a single one, but I don't open them more than a couple times each year.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love this! Great storage most 1/64th scale die-cast vehicles.
This is a great product for storing 1/64th scale die-cast vehicles. The closures are great as they have 2 points of latching on each closure. They are not easy to unlatch. Which is a big plus so the contents don't spill out and get damaged and waste time. It is especially impressive in how well it holds heavier die-cast vehicles as the lids do not bend or flex keeping your collection safe. I do wish they made a version with slightly longer spaces as quite a few of the vehicles I collect end up being stored at an angle or not fitting at all. Overall, this is a great product and can be a great value if you can wait for a price drop. Please note that sometimes a lower price means you might get an item with some cosmetic defects(seconds). For example, some of the cases I received had tiny black flecks imbedded in the plastic. They did not stick out and could not damage the contents. I am OK with that as I consider these to be storage - not display. If you are not OK with that, you should probably pay the higher price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Check size of your polish bottles
The compartments are not adjustable. Does not fit regular size OPI polishes or bottles that are the same size as those polishes. Essie bottles fit well. I do like that it can help with the organization of my polishes. Now it is easy to find the right color thread
Didn't occur to me to organize my threads by color until moving them all to the thread holder. Easy to see if you have a match for the fabric at hand or need to go buy a different color. Good Product different USE........ NOT NAIL POLISH
Good quality product but I would not list as a NAIL POLISH HOLDER. If you have OPI, China Glaze, Finger Paints, Orly etc. they will not fit this holder. (Top too long) I needed it for more than 60 bottles of Essie polishes so it will work great for me. This item is more suitable as a thread holder, nails art, small scrapbook pieces and stud earrings, actually nails and tacks etc. I bought 2 of these holders good for my purpose (Essie polish) but others need to be careful of your use. My mom bought 2 at the same time. She was NOT as happy. Try the brand Makartt on Ebay or Amazon bigger slots to hold longer tops I have 2 of those as well. Has limitations... Picts a bit misleading... OPI polish bottles too big
This product is well made but the sections are fixed sizes so there is no adjusting and most of my polishes are too long (ex. standard OPI bottles, Art bottles, etc.) for the fixed size compartments. If you are using it to store materials it might work better than for 90% of the polishes I have. I'll be using it in another way rather than return it but be aware of the limitations as the images give the impression that there is some ajustability. Best slot car case on Ebay
If you now have, or are starting a slot car collection, you no doubt have had a hard time finding the right case to store and carry your cars. You've probably looked at a lot of overpriced hot wheels cases, only to find that your cars barely fit into the case slots, if at all.
