Nice design, but may not suit everyone's needs
I bought this as a replacement for an older Koomus model. I liked the small footprint and easy of use. Unfortunately, it didn't work well with my vehicle. The vents in my car slant away from the driver, which means the phone ended up being far away from view and titled slight upward. I ended up giving it to my father, whose car has more vertical vents. It works well there. So, if you're considering this item, make sure you understand how your vents are situated in your car relative to the driver.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Hard to use
The overall design makes it difficult to use. I'll try to explain: The spring that holds the sides together is strong, (it has to be so the phone won't slip out). But that causes the 4 vent "grips" on the back, (these grips attach the holder to your air vent) can't hold on. So when you have the mount attached to you vent and attempt to insert or remove your phone from the holder, the amount of pressure to open the side grips, (remember the strong spring) pulls the entire mount from the vent. You either have to use two hands (fingertips mostly) to carefully open the grip and insert the phone; or hold the mount in place with one hand and force the mount open with the side of your phone to insert it. Lastly, depending on the size/weight of your phone, the mount will pull down on the vents, causing the phone to tip downwards. Overall I bought an iotti holder. Great design and easy to use
I have purchased 20 or more for myself, family and friends. I keep two in my car. Once it it on your air cond. vent, to install your phone, you simply tilt your phone and push to the left and the phone drops in. Kind of tight
I have a 6 plus with an otter box on it. Although it did fit it was super tight to the phone which I understand is necessary but it's heavy and I went a few miles and over some bumps and it fell out of the vent. Great but a little slight for bigger phones
I love the tight grip on the phone and the size of the holder. The only drawback is in its advantage, though. It’s so compact that it struggles slightly with larger / heavier phones like the iPhone 8+. That said, I can usually figure a way to make it work.
