For Bon Scott era fans, it's hard to determine which of AC/DC's albums made with the late frontman is the best (truth be told, I like them all, including the vastly underrated "Powerage"), but you can make a strong argument for "High Voltage". Five of the tracks are absolute classics: the title cut, TNT, Live Wire, It's a Long Way to the Top and The Jack (which is even better on the live "If You Want Blood" album). The other four tracks are strong as well. A great "good-times" rock and roll album!

A must have for anyone into blues based hard rock and roll! AC DC have forged their own brand of rock, and have not conformed to trends over the years. This CD is their (International) debut, and still holds up with the swagger and crunch that unleashed its unapologetic fury all those years ago. Solid. Tasty. Understated and powerful.
