I have upgraded several laptops with T7500 processors, and they are quite snappy. I upgraded the laptops with solid state drives and 4GB of ram, so that helps too. But the T7500 is all the "average" computer user needs. Granted it isn't anywhere near as efficient as a new i3/i5, but for the price, they are worth using to upgrade an older laptop. Just use a good thermal paste, and enjoy your new Core2Duo.

returned to seller I have a Dell D610 laptop it has a 533 bus speed and will not allow this cpu to work with it, it currently has a 1.8 dou core intel 533 cpu, it is very efficient, I still hope to upgrade this to 2.26 or 2.23 Ghz intel Duo Core cpu, it is more than sufficient, I'm sure the upgrade would be noticed but the present 1.8 is adequate

The product works exactly as it is supposed to. There is a strange thing though. The original manufacturer multiplier is 11. Sometimes it go up to 12, which has the effect of overclocking and the processors frequency go to 2,4 Ghz. May be the problem is caused by my laptop and not the processor itself. However T7500 is a very good choice, because it's fast enough to cover you daily needs. With it's 4MB L2 cache it's faster enough to be on the top of the line.
