Installing thsi CPU was very easy on a Dell Lat. D630. Used the latest BIOS for it first and detection took a bit longer, but after that sailing very smoothly. A great chip for old laptops and with the speed of 2,5Ghz and a nice level cache. Tip: Bring old and cheap laptops back alive. With a 4GB memory, SSD and this CPU, you are happy how it runs. Plus you can be wiser with the amount of Watts it is using.

Upgraded to this T9300 Processor in my laptop from the T7500. If you're a gamer or do video editing, you will notice a performance increase with this chip. It was worth the $60 I paid for it and being slightly under the T9500 and saving over $40 in comparison, this chip is overall the way to go. If you only do web surfing and only listen to music and watch videos and are already using a T7XXX processor or better, it won't be much of an upgrade for you. I do not regret getting this CPU and I'm loving it. Definitely a worthy processor for its price even during the age of 8-core processors if you don't want to spend $1200 on a new machine just for a CPU upgrade when decent dual-cores have enough power to play Blu-Ray movies! However, I minus one star for not being a phenomenal upgrade. That's more of like a 9/10 stars because as good of a chip as it is and doesn't overheat in place of a slower chip using the same/previous heatsink.Read full review
Dropped this into a Dell Vostro 1500 (circa 2009) that I was given because it seems folks know I like older laptops. I enjoy renewing them, making them useable for a few more years. This CPU not only sped up the computer, but allowed me to install Win 7-64, a massive improvement in performance.

The motherboard (an HP Pavilion Laptop w/GM965 Chipset) supported only one processor faster than this one - an Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 2.6 GHz. The reason I did not buy the fastest CPU available was because it was twice the price at $150. This CPU, the Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 was half the price and is just about same speed - a mere 0.1 GHz difference with all other features identical to the T9500. This CPU is highly recommended to anyone wishing to upgrade their current Txxx series CPU and is VERY FAST!
CPU is working well, tested for a while and no problem with it. Why I've said that it is not easy to install? Because knowledge and experience in IT is required to install CPU, or at least be careful when replacing CPU by watching video-instruction online. Thanks for the Item. All OK.

A friend had given me their old (to them) broken laptop. So I thought I would give fixing it a try. I am no expert I'm just naturally curios about what makes things tick. I got lucky and got it running. Well my Man gene kicked in for "more power". According to Dell's website this would be a good choice for a processor. Not wanting to put a lot of money into something I wasn't sure was going to work. I purchased a used processor. It works great and my laptop is now my main work station. Like I said I am no expert when it comes to computers. But the Core Duo T9300 2.5 GHz runs my new version of Photoshop CS5 nicely, and much faster than the Celeron I took out. I hope this helps.
Clean CPU. Used but quite functional. Put it in a Lenovo R61i after Middleton’s BIOS flash, and it worked flawlessly. L2 cache and higher clock really improved performance of old clunker

This was a great purchase. Exactly as specified. As far as socket P motherboards go, this is the next to best cpu you can buy (T9500 being the best). HOWEVER - ebay is flooded with fake Engineering Samples/ QS t9500 processors. Engineering samples are not what they used to be, just google it. Those sellers buy them for $5 a unit and resell for 30 times that. This t9300 cpu was a great deal and is a quality OEM piece of hardware. I've been using it for over a month now and no problems. A much better deal than the T9500, if you are looking to upgrade a high-end laptop from around ~2 years ago.
One of the only T9300's I was able to find. Works like a charm! Sped up my old laptop a lot. Service was swift. I highly recommend this product.
