This processor only with all rest of the computer components I purchased resemble the first computer that I've built, so I don't know as much as other people, but compared to what I had it's awesome. It handles multiple programs and windows much better than what I had, the cpu usage is running between 1-5 percent while I'm writing this review right now while I have another monitor running, and 4 other programs. I have had absolutely no problems with it, it was very easy to install, so along with the other info I gave I would have to give a 10 out of 10 overall!

I'm not using a stock heat sink idle at 24c-25c . Motherboard EVGA X58 SLI 12G 1066mhz DDR3 memory. I would buy it again or one of it's cousins great deal. I bought a Xeon CPU that was listed as an i7! The "supposed compatable" Xeon CPU crashed my Asus board! "Thanks to Asus for crash free Bios!." But you have to have a back up! Look up the specs. on your board before buying! If Mfg. Specs. don't list Xeon as compatable, don't buy it! Both CPU's are great! But be absoutley sure your board will support it!! Just some info. to save you some head achs!! Thanks...
Great Processor..I bought this one because i thought my i7 920 wasn't working...I have to say this is a fast cpu chip... 920 2.66 gz 940 2.93 gz both cpu way to go if you go from P4 or Duo2 core
