Lighter touch than mechanical keyboards, but not mushy or chiclet style.
For document editing and rewrites, I prefer rubber dome keyboards instead of the IBM style mechanical keyboards. Many entry-level desktop computers are including chiclet keyboards that are not useful for document creation or editing. This keyboard does have the PS/2 connector, but I use a legacy Compaq PS/2 to USB adapter, when required.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
