The 5000P (Blackford) chipset supports a single or dual Intel 64-bit Quad core/dual core processor(s) with front side bus speeds of up to 1.333 GHz. The chipset consists of the 5000P (Blackford) Memory Controller Hub (MCH) and the Enterprise South Bridge 2 (ESB2).

Happy with ressurected my workstation
May be it is server motherboard, and definitly not the best motherboard for workstation, and it is slightly outdated, but with 64gb RAM, dual X5460 CPUs and old but not obsolete )) Quadro 6000+tesla c2075 it meet my needs for less money than modern workstations. As mother board for "graphic station it is very bad composed I allways have problems with SATA cables when I use long graphiccards. But I found this card better choice for old but useful workstation. Better may be tyan tempest with same memory capacity, and slightly faster. But supermicro works well and it has upgrade limit, what is great plus for my wallet. PCI-E warks in x8 mode wich is not good for Nvidia Maximus. But any way it works. May be It's pc necromancy, but i'm satisfied with the result. Back panel and spare cpu and even some screws was pleasant bonus. Motherboard was used with minor signs of wear. Better than my burnt one.
