Excellent CPU
Fits the LGA 775 socket without any problem despite being a Xeon. I installed it in a gigabyte motherboard with P965 chipset, no compatibility issues, plug and play. It also takes a whole of a lot more overclocking than the desktop equivalent Q6600, with no crashes or BSOD, just be reminded to use a good heatsink. Perfect for a cheap upgrade for your old PC.
