Power supply is hard, if not impossible, to find. This particular unit was sold less a power supply, which has a three prong DC plug. The voltage and current specifications were not written on the unit, nor contained within the user's manual, making finding a replacement power supply nearly impossible. This problem may have been corrected in subsequent production models of this particular hub, so be careful which version you're buying!
This router is not a simple switch or hub but a sophisticated device that allows slow 10BaseT nodes to connect with 100BaseT sources without slowing down the entire network. So if you have old legacy 10Mb networked equipment which doesn't support 100Mb, you can connect them via the router with other 10 or 10/100 or 100 devices without having the fast devices slow down. No configuration, nothing strange, just plug them in and the auto-sensing router does the rest. All within a VERY small footprint for an 8 port hub.
