I bought two of these for a build project at work.. They had the size and form factor I needed.. Three ports on the side and one at the end. They work well enough as a hub, and were immediately detected by my Windows computer. - no issues there. For my project, I needed two and a longer input cable on each, so on one I proceeded to try and remove the original cable from the PCB.. that was a failure.. the lands on the circuit board could not take the heat from my soldering iron, and curled right off the fiberglass board - rendering the unit useless. This caused me to instead simply splice and lengthen the cable which was a success.. I ordered a third unit and lengthened the cable on it as well.. So now I have two modified units functioning in my test apparatus... If you are able to live with a really short cable, then this little hub as as good as any...Read full review
