Wish I had bought this sooner!
After my ancient Hoover died, nothing else could compare. I bought several uprights over the last few years, and they all left me disappointed. That has all changed! This vacuum is lightweight, and has great suction - even in those hard to reach places. It does well sucking up dirt along edges of walls & furniture, as well as corners. Slick enough to slide around tight furniture, and the light helps to see in dark spaces. The cord is long enough for me to vacuum the whole main level of my home. Works fantastic on hardwood & tile surfaces - yes, it actually PICKS UP the dirt, not just blow it around! I can't speak much about use on carpets, as I've only used it on a large doormat, but it works well for that. All of the attachments make it easy to clean any surface, from floors, couches and curtains, to cobwebs, stair banisters and window tracts. The ONLY thing I do not like about this vacuum, is that it is top-heavy and cannot stand on it's own. It either has to be rested against something, or hung on the wall mount. Exceeded expectations
I knew this vacuum from having used a very similar Shark model at my father's last year. It's very light weight, easy to use and easy to clean with a very long electric cord. The Deluxe Pro model I recently purchased for myself feels like an upgrade with its lights and rotor speed: I literally have to run after the vacuum when I turn on the rotor on carpets! I love this vacuum. Lightweight, all the parts are clearly marked making it easy to assemble or take apart. Couldn't believe how much it picked up on the first sweep. Good vacuum and great price.
I am happy with my purchase of the refurbished Rocket Deluxe Pro Ultralight Upright vacuum cl. It arrived quickly, and appeared to be brand new to me. The box was dinged up, but the vacuum didn't have a single scratch on it. It works very well and the attachments are great. Never buying another vacuum.
I had a big upright, and a smaller dirt devil 360°reach, with canadian living, thick shag rugs and a messy toddler ive been having a hard time finding a all in 1 vac. Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro does amazing on my flat floors, my thick shag and picking up everything my little mess maker leaves behind. Its quieter than my big upright AND my Dirt Devil! with the ease of changing out vacuum heads with just your foot and a hanging attachment for small places im in vacuum heaven!!. Good Vacuum!!
As a previous Dyson owner, I was a little skeptical about this one but the price was right and I needed it quickly. It is pretty quiet, so I was surprised at the amount of debris (incl dog hair) that it picked up. This was intended to be a second vacuum for quick jobs or for our vehicles.
