This is a 5-star product because 1) it is very decently-priced, 2) it has good illumination and 3) it has good enough quality. The first reason is important as HID bulbs should be replaced every 3 to 6 years so might as well get a decent product. The fact that it is from the UK makes it a decent product. The market is flooded with very poorly-made bulbs with poor performance. The price is 25% of bulbs from known brands. If the bulb lasts until the next bulb change, 3 to 6 years, then this is a really good deal. If only I can update my review after years of purchase, then anyone reading this after my update will get better information. I have asked many people, though, who have used HID bulbs from Lunex and theirs have been working for at least 3 years now. With reference to the photos below, the first one shows the performance of my 15 year old Philips bulbs (Sorry about the photo taken behind the steering wheel). The second photo shows the illumination made by Lunex. Note: These are both on manual settings: F/1.7, shutter speed @1/50 sec, ISO @ 3200. Again, HID bulbs weaken their output over time and since, according to many lighting experts, should be changed every 3 to 6 years, these bulbs should be good enough to keep good vehicle lighting.Read full review
