SKF Repair Sleeves
I used these repair sleeves to repair the corroded spindles on my boat trailer. They were the only reasonably priced repair option short of buying new axle assemblies. I had to make my own installation tool because of the length of the spindles. I also used JB Weld to fill in the pitting on the spindle seal counterface area then immediately installed the sleeves before the JB Weld set up. The sleeves worked and repaired the spindles perfectly and I used new original size seals which slid on easily. Who ever came up with the idea of making these simple but effective repair sleeves is a genius!
