Shaft needs to be cut to length, but after that it bolts on and fits great on the splines. I was surprised there were not any instructions included. After cutting 8 inches off the length of it (they leave it plenty long incase you have a body lift) I drilled and tapped a hole for the long set screw, that holds one yoke in place, to go through 1 side of the tube and press on the other side. I figured that was why the one set screw was so long. Not a direct bolt on item but as long as you know that it is a great upgrade from the original rag joint shaft.

Product is very well made and what a huge difference it made for my 1973 Ford F250 Highboy with a 3" body lift! Had no idea how much steering slop was in the stock shaft. Highly recommended especially if you have a body lift truck!

Used it to replace a rusted original steering shaft from a 1977 Ford F250. Took 9 hrs to pull off the original, 30 minutes to install the new one. Great product.
