  • Timken Bearings

I've always had good quality bearings using the Tiimken brand. If I'm changing any bearings, I try to get Timken. I've had 4 boats that I have changed bearings because I bought the boats used and didn't know the care they were given. I have also put them in my garden tiller. This is the second set of bearings for the tiller because of the oil shaft seal failed and subsequently one of the Timkens failed too. That's what I get for letting relatives use the equipment. The tiller was still operable when I received it back, but one bearing was noisy. Changed both bearings and races and it sounds great now. Since the garden has been planted and growing, I haven't had a chance to put the tiller to any hard use yet. But I fully expect it to function properly. Of course, the new bearing lubricant and seals help too.

  • Made in the USA

I buy Timken bearings because they are of good quality and made in the USA. Recently while looking for bearings I ran across some made in china. Although they were cheaper I still bought the Timkem brand. I hate doing a repair job twice because of poor quality parts.
