Have used before. Is it better or worse than OEM? Who knows, can't imagine it is a problem, always used the FRAM filters on previous cars. Never had a problem. Wish all of these filters were cheaper though, when you look at them they should be about 50% less for what they are but everyone says I am living in a 60s economic attitude.

This is a good filter. It has 15 folds of filter material. More expensive filters may have up to 24 folds. More folds offer more filter surface area so it may last longer. Pay more, pay less. The most important thing is to change it when its dirty.

Seems to be a quality product and an excellent value IF it would fit My 2016 Subaru Outback. Unfortunately it does not, despite the description states that it does. It is slightly thicker than the OEM filter and that thickness prevents this filter from fitting this car. This added thickness prevents the cover of the filter housing in the Outback from latching and locking onto the filter housing.
