I bought this book simply because I love John Saul. His books are spell-binding, suspenseful, eerie and scary. This one was no exception. I couldn't put it down and read it the same day I received it! It's about a family of 5, down on their luck. The dad is an alcoholic who can't keep a job and had just been fired, again. Then a relative dies, and they inherit a huge old house and plenty of money, but with the house comes a horrible history, and almost immediately, "things" begin to happen... So, if you like being on the edge of your seat, this one will not disappoint you.
