Joe Ely is great!!!! Just buy this cd & enjoy some fantastic music!
I first heard Live Shots in the early 1980's & bought the cassette, which finally died about 10 years later. Since then, I have got a few more Joe Ely cd's but could not find Live Shots anywhere until I stumbled upon it on the inter web & ordered it. The first time that I played it, all of the songs came flooding back to me as if I hadn't heard them for a few weeks instead of over 20 years. Great musicianship from all of the band. As for Down on The Drag, I had no idea that it ever existed, but it is growing on me with every listen!
