10/10 CPU on the Cheap for a Media PC on an AM3/AM3+ Socket Motherboard
Really good CPU for the money if you want a media pc built with a spare AM3 socket motherboard lying around Works on AM3+ socket motherboards also. No issues encountered to this moment. Has the expected performance given the price and work it's needed for. Runs Windows 10 flawlessly on an 8 year old hard drive (Defragged with Complete/Name sequence) and 4gb of Ram Would recommend easily to a friend if he was in the same situation ( having spare parts and wanting a media pc ) Stock cooler and Cheap motherboard, so no overclocking was attempted as was not needed for the circumstance*

Old but reliable
this is an older processor, but it really revved up the (old) computer I put it in. The computer was struggling while playing the new x265 videos, but once I replaced the dual core with this quad core, they run very smoothly. A cheap fix that gives new life to an older computer

Great for such a low price!
I got mines used. It was clean, none of the pins were bent. I replaced my old cpu (X2 250) in my old HP Pavilion motherboard and ran with no problems. I paired this with my R7 360 and they ran great together. I was able to run Final Fantasy XIV at medium settings at 60fps.

Quite powerful quad core for cheap! Overclock it and the GTX 750 is a no problem for it to drive. Though if you go for higher performance than that it might bottleneck your system. Mine arrived fast and it's in working condition

Great bank for your buck!
An awesome processor, good bank for your buck! I can play Crisis 2 on this CPU @~ 30FPS on ultra with a GeForce GTS 450, minor lag during loading, but that's expected without L3 cache, like I said good bank for your buck. 1/2 the price of a Phenom for about ~1/2-5/8 the performance. 1/2 the price of an FX for about 1/2 the performance.
