Makes my car happy
I have essentially restored the intake portion of my 1998 740iL. All the usual stuff. Upon doing so, the engine would randomly rev up. Installing the idle control valve causes it to run smoothly, as it should. It is pricey when comparing it to the same item for other makes of vehicles, but I guess that's what you should expect when buying for a luxury vehicle. Good luck on your next repair.
