I have had troubles with my brake lights for years (2004 Dodge Ram)!! For some reason, something would over heat and melt the plastic of the bulb a little and then the wire contact was buried in the plastic and wouldn't make contact. I'd have to take the light apart, scrape the plastic flat again, scrape off the wire then try to clean the contact inside the socket. Eventually the socket was worn and I was doing this more and more often. I had planned a trip to the local u-pull-it then decided to see how much I could buy new ones for. These were a great price and when I received them they appear to be of high quality. Perfect fit for my truck and everything is working great now!! Great priduct and price and they arrived a day earlier that scheduled!!
