Originally I was apprehensive about purchasing a non Microsoft branded power block for my Son's xbox one. The possibility of it being cheao.and causing harm kept me skeptical. After reading a few reviews undecided to take the leap Boy oh boy am I glad I did. This product after a couple of weeks of use has held up great and feels as good if not better than the original Microsoft product that failed on us after 6 month of use. The internal fan sounds more efficient and seems to move more air. The shipping speed of course pleased my son as his was lost without his xbox (hahaha kids and their games). Learning that this is a Husband and Wife ran smaller operation made me feel good I putting my money to good use not running to Walmart for a replacement. I was very hesitant at first to purchase the item due to this one review where an buyer stated that his power box only lasted 22 days. Apparently the guy must be playing his Xbox for 22 days straight because I haven't had any issues with my power box. Your power cord and box deserves to not function if you're playing video games for 22 days straight anyways. My Xbox is placed in the living room where it's frequently used by my roommates and I to play games, watch movies, and stream videos. I had it for close to 2 weeks now, and there hasn't been any issues. There are days on the weekends where this power cord is powering the Xbox for many hours. I would play the Xbox for a couple hours before my roommates would use it to watch movies or whatever else. It was operating for 12 hours straight between my roommates and I at one point, and there hasn't been any problems. The performance is excellent, and the only difference between this and the original charger is that it's a little louder. It's not like you're going to hear it when you're playing your game or watching movies anyways, unless you have wolf-like hearing or like to watch silent movies and videos. If you are worried or hesitant about buying it due to that one review or the low price, like I was, then don't be. I'm impressed how the power cord/box is performing for a great value. Also, my cord/power box arrived a day before the estimate shipping date as well. It was shipping out within 2 hours after I ordered it, and that's something that you don't get with a lot of sellers. I gave 4/5 stars based on my experience. My original power supply died (over healed) so I was look for a good cheap alternative. Mine may have been a "lemon" but here's how mine would work. When plugged in the powerfully did not receive power continuesly. This means the Xbox wouldn't "run" when off. Power would come and go, so using USB connections made it useless unless the system was on. Unable to use my controller to turn it on was a bit aggravating, but that's just the start. Pushing the power "button" manually may or may not 'DING', usually not. So, knowing how power works, when items 1st are plugged in there is an inrush of power to feed it. Using this in rush, that's the only way I could manually turn my Xbox on...by unplugging the power supply, then plug it in and push the on button 10/12 times. Sometimes even if the Xbox turned on, the power supply may cut off as it wasn't receiving the "call" for power from the console. I never got the chance to pit my meters on the unit to test any vokts/amps/watts etc while both on n off, so I don't have specifics to give. That said, when it did work, it worked with no issues. It dies have a noisier fan than originals, mine sounded like a mini fridge constantly running, possibly out of balance unit. I wasn't pleased with mine, and I contacted the seller. Told them my issues and asked for either a refund or replacement unit (as I feel I got a lemon) They issued a no questions asked refund. And for that I was very thankful Read full review

I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. I am a bit of a heavy gamer, meaning I game about 5 hours at a time, and then afterwards my xbox would be on for an additional 3 hours for netflix, youtube, etc. Works pretty good, I keep my room cool so there's no over heating I have noticed so far. Only down side is that for what ever reason at times, the wire is a bit faulty and when my daughter plays a bit around the area, with out pulling anything just simply playing by the box where my adapter is on top of, and if she were to kick the box with a little bit of force, the adapter shuts off and I would have to wiggle the wire to that PERFECT position for it to work smoothly again, and that's pretty sucky when your in the middle of an intense match. Got the thing with some trouble through the mail. Product actually got here and worked as it should... But rattled around a bit, like some piece of plastic got loose and got stuck on the inside. Likewise, a piece of plastic on the outside just up and flaked off for no good reason. That piece of plastic on the inside? Yeah, I have a feeling it jacked with the cooling fan. When I turn it on, the unit makes this loud buzzing, and I have to smack it a few times to get the fanblades spinning straight again. I've seen enough good reviews to assume that I got the exception, not the rule, but it's still been a disappointing experience overall. I'll continue to smack and use it until the fan blades pop off, then I'm getting a different one before this one overheats and catches my house on fire.

Only had it for a few days but so far it works alright I don't know if it was just me or my cord but when I plugged it into the extension cord it got super hot like I think it was burning my carpet I could smell something burning hah. But she I plugged it into the wall it's been doing alright so far. But to be honest it could just be my extension cord not thing box. Originally was a great product purchased in September 2020 and today is October November 3rd 20201 lasted from them to now so a year. I don’t often play my Xbox I usually watch youtube at night with it and play madden every once in a while. Today November 3rd I was watching a YouTube video and a loud bang like a fainter gunshot but still pretty loud like it basically exploded. Luckily there was no fire but u can smell the odor coming off of the bricki. Tv and everything that was plugged into the same surge protector was still on I immediately unplugged the whole surge protector. Waited a few hours when I got back home to try to investigate it if no longer works at all. The light lights up orange on it when I hit the power button it goes white and shuts back off like the stock brick did which led me to buy this one. I purchased one of these about a month ago to replace my stock one. It seem to work just fine although the fan in it was very loud. After about a month of normal use about 2 hrs a day ever other day all the sudden my Xbox went off in the middle of something and would not turn on the power cord box was extremely hot enough to make the plastic soft. And it now will not work. For this reason I really can’t recommend this product
