Used in my canon F1 which requires a 1.3 v battery. Used a silver oxide sr43 1.55v and this 1. Made it fit and 2. Brought the voltage down to required. Pleasure using the built in meter and the pictures were properly exposed

I’d been looking for a battery for this camera for a long time, and when it arrived, inserting the battery into this adapter was super easy and once it was in the camera, the light meter started reading. Shipping was super fast too!

It does exactly what is supposed to do. It allows the use of the very common SR-43 / 386 battery in cameras that require a 1.35v mercury oxide MR9, PX13 or PX625 battery. It does this not only by adapting the shape of the battery, but also by lowering the 1.5v of the 386 to 1.35v.

This adapter allows me to use modern batteries that are 1.55V with my older film cameras which require a mercury 1.35 battery, which are no longer made. The electronics do no operate accurately if I were to use a 1.55V battery without the adapter. There are cheaper "adapters" which allow modern batteries to fit into the battery compartment but do not adjust the voltage and so light meters do not indicate the correct settings.

It makes all old camera's meterings and Flashlights alive again! Easy to use and very reliable! I use it on my Leica M5 and Olympus 35RC film cameras. Before using this product, the meterings on these 2 camera are suck! But now, while using this, I have the correct metering! Just love it!

The battery adapter worked great in an old 35mm Minolta SLR. I also used a battery tester to check the voltage with the adapter and a Silver Oxide battery. It reduced the voltage from 1.5v to 1.3v as required.

This very well in my vintage cameras needing reduced voltage as they were designed to use the old mercury batteries no longer available.

Fits perfectly in my Minolta SRT101 film camera. Seems to have the proper voltage for the light meter when compared with an iPhone light meter app.

Since I myself have a number of legacy 35mm cameras that use a battery of 1.35v this is the only way to go, unless of course a person wishes to spend around 10 dollars a piece for some of the other batteries that are 1.35v.

Works to power those old light meters that used mercury batteries.
