  • HOTT Personal CD Player

Except for the Sony Walkman, this has been the best personal CD player I've used for listening to books while exercising or cleaning. The sound is good, it doesn't skip, and I'm mostly happy thus far. The Sony was less user friendly, because the batteries were located inside the player, so I had to remove the CD to get them out when needing a change. However, since I carry the player in a pack, having the components on the top of the player is more awkward than if they were on the side. At the same time, the device for opening the player to change CDs is on the side, and that's awkward and it doesn't open easily. Until CDs became semi-obsolete, the Sony Walkman was less than $50. This CD player is $70. I still purchased it, because I am addicted to books on CD.

  • Good with 1 problem

Pros: Good quality. Sound is very good. Portable and actually does play CD-R/RW. Cons: #1 -Is not bluetooth enabled. #2 -It is AC adaptable (adaptor not included) and I have not been able to find an adaptor to fit it. The purpose of the device is to use it in rural areas on mission trips and play music or recorded stories to a group. I can still do this, but, the intention was to save on batteries, especially in areas were there is not easy access to them or a way to responsibly dispose of them.

  • Good features with anti shock

Use product on mower over very bumpy ground and player has not skipped a beat. Just what I was looking for to prevent skipped beats.

  • Good quality, but only operates on batteries, no power cord

I use this to listen to books on CD from my library. It is good sound quality. My only criticism is that there is no power cord for it so it only uses batteries. I looked everywhere on line for one. I found only one and it cost almost as much as the whole unit, bummer

  • A quality product at an affordable price

This CD player is just what I need to enjoy my vintage CDs of my favorite popular music of the past and the present. It was available at an affordable price which is very hard to find for older equipment that is no longer popular and of low market value compared to I Pods. So I am very grateful to get this CD player, high quality sound at an affordable price. Please keep this CD player in circulation for others who appreciate the old CD player but can't afford the vintage high price.

  • Music never sounded so good.

It's working as I would have expected, the opener to replace a disc is sometimes a little tricky, sometimes I have to push three or maybe more times to open, otherwise it preforms well, just need to understand all the buttons but I'm still new at it. I used to have a Sony Walkman but it lasted me about 40 years, so I think I got my moneys worth. We will see if the Jensen has the same length of time.

  • Very good cd player for a vehicle with aux plug!

Pros: For the price, it is a very good cd player for a vehicle. I use 2 AA rechargeable batteries. Not sure how long they will last. I keep extras. I tried shaking the cd player. I could not get it to skip. I have it plugged into the aux on my car stereo. It works great. Unless you get a lemon, I don't see how anybody could complain at this price. Cons: I have none yet.

  • Meets my needs

At times I have difficulty getting the player to switch on. I can play one CD and need to replace the batteries.I will see how long the replacement batteries last. I ordered a AC/DC power supply and will use it as needed. I connected the player to a Bluetooth stereo at our office and it worked well.

  • Better than expected.

Like all Jensen products plastic is thin and vulnerable to easy breakage. This one does have excellent sound volume and balance. For the price it was better than I had expected. Thank you.

  • Did not fit my needs

I had a specific need for this CD player. The background noise of the CD spinning in the player was a bit loud for me. If using this with earphones, it would probably be OK. I bought it to replace an OLD Sony which was initially quieter and lasted on constant play for years. I don't feel this one is as good quality. One of the springs in the battery case came out when I removed the batteries. I am sure it can be put back, but this annoys me and feels cheap. I am going to return it. The sound quality was fine.
