other than the screws, wood to internal metal is a very poor fit! externally it is very good, I bedded my grips
s.a.r. k2 .45acp grips :screws & external fit are good, but wood does not make good contact to metal fit, just to depend on screws to absorb the recoil of ball ammo will cause some failure, I like my grips , so I bedded mine, depending on the screws to keep grip panels from shuffling caused the stock panel to fail and Tillander grips failed in the same manner, they were nice looking, I bought 2 sets of them, it was a learning experience, (a sad one) anyone familiar with bedding a Rifle action to the gunstock can do likewise, P.V.A. (poly vinyl alcohol ) is what I used for a release agent of the J B Weld epoxy,
