  • Words cannot do justice to this quality

Noctua has, within 4 years, earned a special place in my heart. I LITERALLY cannot think of a single negative about Noctua (as a company) or their wonderful products. These fans are amazing; simply amazing! 4 of these combined are quieter at 100% than a single one of those other 120mm fans. No buzzing, no droning, no whirring; just static from airflow. And these are the high-static-pressurr ones, too! The p12 on my NH-D14 was nearly dead silent. These F12's aren't silent, but are SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than ANY other 120mm fan I've heard, at 100%. When you start PWM'ing fans, you can make nearly any fan quiet; it's just that these F12's will be quieter, at the same airflow, than almost any other "normal" 120mm fan. A story: Noctua, as a company, managed to earn my rather impossible-to-earn respect, this year. My brother and I were modding a case, and I accidentally set one of his fans (not these fans, but the redux versions he bought), on the workbench. Some metal filings got into the motor, unknown to me or my brother. Got the case modded, assembled and then...the fan eventually started making noise, so he initiated an RMA (it was a brand-new fan, and he was unaware of the contamination). After he tells me about it, I recall the incident, investigate it, and sure enough, the metal powder caused the failure. Since we're honest, we tell Noctua about our mistake, and apologise for what we did. Well, he LITERALLY had to TALK NOCTUA OUT OF SENDING A REPLACEMENT fan. I'm not hyperbolating even a fraction! A+ Noctua, you've set the example of how a company SHOULD stand behind their products! Simply amazing. I hope you DOMINATE your chosen field(s), and crush the inferior "competition." Thank you!

  • Best 120mm PWM fan on the market!

I use these Noctua NF-F12 120mm fans exclusively where it'll fit. Because it moves a LOT of air and not loud. Better yet, is normally very quiet while doing so. Currently, have over 20 of these in usage & the spare items which are included alone are worth more than half the price. Example, I don't buy PWM spitters because one is included in package. Lastly, although these has a 6 year warranty, have never had to ask for a replacement of the first one. I believe the double ball bearing (versus the cheaper rifle or sleeve type) is the #1 factor to it's lifespan & low noise. Highly recommended by a DIY enthusiast!

  • I don't care what color it is or if it has lights; I just need it to work well at cooling my CPU.

I support Noctua products. They work and work well. Their fans are quiet and - above all - they are reliable and have years of longevity. The LAST thing you need is your cooler fan failing. The second thing is you need the fan to be quiet. Noctua provides both.

  • Great Fan

I bought this fan to upgrade my old NH-D14, The D14 still works great however it came with 3-pin fans. These new fans are running better with the PWM on a B550, better means quieter with the same lower temps.

  • Noctua fans are worth the $ spent.

Very quiet operation! I was so surprised! I just my fan operation on auto temp. and they take care of the rest. Will purchase more in the future.

  • Super LTT fan item with a limited product run

Definitely a product for a super LTT fan. But not worth if you are just looking for noctua fans.

  • Superior performance for the reasonable price.

By this point, there is no need to praise Noctua for its build quality, performance and overall ingenuity. They are de facto standard for air cooling.

  • Very quiet, great performance despite age

There’s always a concern buying used but these were in excellent shape and are very quiet.
