Xerox LEMON 6027 KNOWN DEFECTIVE
BEWARE!!! DEFECTIVE!!! Xerox is aware of factory defect error. Printer will not detect cartridges from New-in-box. Requires hardware flash by technician under warranty. Patch not available to consumer! I bought 3 before learning this from Xerox repair technicians. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. CANNOT RECOMMEND ANY USED ANY USED (NON-WARRANTY) PURCHASE. I threw one used purchase in the dumpster because after $80 "inspection" fee, I was informed that the fix was more than a new replacement. If you do purchase this model...call Xerox customer care and request a new factory fresh set of real cartridges with chip and schedule a technician visit to install and flash the ROM. good luck. Great Print Quality
I purchased this because it was on "Black Friday" sale. I purchased it for almost the cost of buying my replacement cartridges for my old ink-jet printer. It was arrived 3 days after ordering in great condition. It was so easy to set up. Directions are just one line, but between the direction and picture it was super easy to set up. Am totally impressed with the print quality. Colors and print are very crisp and clear. The cartridges are somewhat expensive, however, the number of copies printed are almost 4x's those of my ink-jet. Xerox Printers, the Cadillac of all Printers. My 1st COLOR Laser Printer, my 1st Printer using Wireless. Very simple to set up. Excellent print quality, A color display unit too. To my surprise, does not use the typical type long-drum printer cartridges/placed in the middle of the printer, as these (4) cartridges are installed on the right side of the printer, which is still convenient. (Note, there are (4) different cartridges. Genuine Xerox Print cartridges are very pricey, but there's excellent buys on compatible/off brand cartridges. I generally don't like color printers, but this one is GREAT
As the title says, I absolutely hate color printers. Having dealt exclusively with ink jet printers throughout the past, and the hassle involved with the cartridges running out, drying out, or just being a pain to insert and remove, I'd had enough of them. Specifically, a certain brand, who tends to be the leader in the field of ink jet printers, who recently bought out Samsung's printer division (which I'm very upset about). In any event, I decided to switch brands and types of printer and ultimately researched so much that the Xerox WorkCentre 6027/NI Wireless Multi-function Color Laser Printer would be a good fit. Thankfully, I was right, and things have been great ever since. The toner removal and insertion could not be more simple, the copy and scan quality is the best I've ever seen, and the toner yield is obviously in a league all its own compared with ink jet printers. If I had to do it all over again, I'd NEVER EVER have bought ANY ink jet printers. I would have bought this as soon as it came out and not had to go through 3 or 4 junk printers from the aforementioned competitor, who I swear must only manufacture printers so that they break down within a year. I think this printer is going to end up being the best printer I have ever owned.
The xerox 6027 is easy to set up.I can print from two cell phones and two computers now with ease.The print quality is excellent.I have tryed everything everything it does {except for the fax} and it works perfectly.It is slitely larger than all the other printers I have owned in the past but well worth the extra space it takes up.I am haveing a slight problem with it answering phone calls that are not faxes.That is probably on me because I haven't had the time to work on that problem very much.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love My New Xerox Laser Printer
My printer arrived Thursday, which was really quick, since it came from Canada. My son came the next day, took him longer to open the box than to set it up! Turned it on, and just like that he had a picture of his Classic car printed out. I was able to print out 3 weeks of my OBS questions sitting in my living room. It was so quiet that I thought it wasn't printing. It was a little slow, but so worth the wait! I love it, and the color is great. Toners are much better than ink colors keeps dry out and runs out ink short and wasted money. This toners color are more save money cost.
