There are way more ef and efs lenses than m lenses. This is why they made it and it works great. I love it. Works with Sigma, Canon, Tokina etc. Why spend money on the generic brand, when this one is actually made right for the camera. Buy once, not twice.

Fixed the issue I had when I used a different non cannon product that it would set off an error message on my camera and I had to power off the camera to get it to work again. But with this official cannon product it fixed the problem it it hasn’t happened since. Very happy A+++++

I bought a Canon EOS M3 and purchased this adapter so I could use my Canon EF lens that I already had for my D5 MKII. So far I have had very good results with the EF 50mm F1.4 and the EF 16-35 F2.8 lenses. Metering and focus work as well as they did with the EF-M 22mm F2 lens made for the camera. The adapter is well made and it felt solid even with the heavy zoom lens attached.

This is well made, and has all the electronic connections needed for autofocus and exposure control. I’ll be using it a lot on my Canon EOS M6 camera. I got a good price on eBay, too.

Well made as could be expected from a Canon (OEM) product. Works fine for AF. Canon original price is outrageous, discounted price on ebay is more reasonable but still high for what it is. Knock-off copies tend to be typically iffy on quality control and I was willing to pay the price for reliability. YMMV.
