Pretty much all eyeglass frames get loose at the temples over time, and sometimes even opticians aren’t much help in getting a snug fit. I’ve used bands like these for years to keep my eyeglasses fitting properly. You simply roll the bands onto the earpieces, settle them into the hinge and you’ve got a great fit. I’ve yet to see how long these particular bands last. In my experience rubber hinge bands degrade or break over time, but these seem to be well-made, tough and absolutely well worth the money.

If you have glasses that slip and there not the skinny wire ones, this is definitely the way to go. They work excellent.

You get about 10 of them for $4.95. They are not the same as the little soft rubber "O"s in an eyeglass repair it, which are easy to slide on a sidepiece. These are stiff, hard rubber and cannot be stretched, kind of like tires for tiny truck. I was unable to get it on a sidepiece by rolling it on. Finally, I was able to inset a tweezer inside and stretch it enough to engage with the sidepiece and then roll it on, but it was a lot of work and "engineering". The product arrived in a few days and the seller very dependable. I just want to know what these things really are!

It was just what I was looking for. I was told they did not make them anymore. Thanks. My "old" glasses fit like new again!.

These rings are better than the ones found in the usual, small eye-glass repair kits. Those are sliced off a tube, so they have square edges and are too thick and hard to "slide on" to many styles of glasses. The Pro Optics Frame Grips are rounded so they slide on more easily (you can "roll" them up the arms), and they DO NOT make the glasses MUCH TOO TIGHT the way others I've tried did. They work much better for me!

I have always used this to tighten eyeglasses but now that the arms on the eye glasses are wider it can be a bit difficult to get them on.

The O rings I received were too large to be useful. The rings would not stay in the hinge area of my glasses because of their size and therefore were useless in the operation I needed them for. They are soft and are of good quality, just too large to do the job I purchased them for.
