  • RPM Reliable Powerful Mixer

I have been using this powered mixer as a DJ for last 2 years and it has performed night in and night out, so much so, that I recently bought a second as a back up or for multiple setups... with tons of features, input/output options and separate channel EQ's this has become my go to mixer for any event, large or small, and at a great price!!! I recommend the RPM870 to anyone wanting to power up their passive mains while still having the capability to operate powered secondary speakers like subs or monitors... I've had great luck with this product and recommend to colleagues all the time!!!

  • Affordable versatile club band mixer with decent power

Has a good amount of clean power and 4 band eq on all channels. The slider 7 band is unnecessary for me. A few really good sounding effects for vocals and it's pushing 6 cabinets for me with good size speakers and horns. small club power to spare. Don't like that you can't adjust passive outputs from the board is my big complaint. Would have gotten 5 stars and because it's so good for the price tag too. Oh, the fan noise is hysterically overated by some of the reviewers. It's not that loud to be overbearing in any live situation.

  • Good for the Money.

Sound is good Layout poor. Cannot see the print on the unit. Gray on Gray. Should have separate volume controls for passive and active so that outputs can be balanced at the board. The Owners manual is very vague. I still can't figure what INSERT does. Very heavy and loud fan. I guess you get what you pay for. Nowhere as much power as stated. 100 to 150 max RMS per channel. The FX is very finicky and only about 6 of the 16 items are useful. the rest are useless and redundant. If you are on a budget and need something for a small bar or coffee house this is for you.

  • Rockin' Rockville

This is a good quality mixer, lots of versatility with decent power... I love the dual 7 band equalizers and slide faders, however there are some issues... quite a bit of unnecessary redundancy like extra high and low dials that are recommended to not be used, 4 different effect level controls (not needed) including a fader, which would've been better served as a master volume fader and it's difficult to run powered subs from the outputs provided...seems to overpower them, so I run them off of a splitter out of the headphone line out and this helps, but then I have no headphones... overall a good mixer thus far and would recommend it for bands and DJ's playing medium to large size rooms...

  • Rockville RPM870 Mixer

This is my 4th Mixer and it is by far the best I’ve had This mixer is unbelievable The sound is amazing! I’m running 4 dual 10 inch grind-house speakers and a rpa5 amp with 2 -12” rockville subwoofers. Omg! Loud!- Rockville is NameBrand! Also it has all the bells and whistle’s like Mackie or Any other top name brand powered mixer I would put this up against anything I love it! you have to see and hear this mixer in person so buy this mixer if you’re looking for one you will not be disappointed. A+ Professional equipment. 👍🏻👍🏻

  • Powerful & Versatile

Power and versatility...no doubt! I'm pretty impressed with this unit. The fan is louder than I would like for indoor events, but this unit handles everything I need done and more, so any complaints would be pretty minor. Since it is powered, I would prefer all four outputs to be passive, so that I would not need separate amperage (or powered monitors) from the active monitor outputs. But, the over-all flexibility of this system, and the clean powerful headroom, makes this well worth the money. The unit is fairly heavy, as most powered mixers are, but it is a great option for smaller bands or event venues that do not have room for multiple pieces of additional rack gear. The effects module on this unit is quite versatile as well...covers the bases. The ability to play or record from USB is nifty, and bluetooth capatibility brings it into this day and age, no doubt. So, my summary would be...powerful, versatile, compact and streamlined for most applications.

  • Lots of great features, and good power at the price point.

I'm a little leery about the actual output RMS for 8 Ohm speakers, but this unit has everything you might need for sound reproduction and amplification. A tech for Rockville said the RMS for 8 Ohm loads is 500 Watts per channel. I'm hoping this is correct, and the output is not just 250 Watts per channel. My tests with some large speakers (each rated at 250 W RMS @ 8 Ohms) seem to show that the RMS may be a bit overstated. The Rockville ad video shows the unit powering 4 large speakers and the output is thunderous. I suppose if the speakers used have an SPL above 95, that might be the difference. I'll keep experimenting with various inputs and output levels to see if that makes a difference. I do like the unit and plan to keep it due to its many features.

  • Power

I bought this product because I had a great experience with the Rockville powered monitor and also because it said it had 6000 watts of power. The sound quality is good, but the power isn't there. I have only used it to DJ so far. I hope that the sound quality is a little better when used for small venue live sound

  • Faulty Used Product

Bought this product Used, but it was supposed to be in excellent working condition. However, the Left A (Speakon Output) and the Left B (1/4" Output) DO NOT WORK! I was very disappointed. Now I have to power two passive subwoofers through Channel A.

  • Good mixer but very noisy fan.

Very good product. Has all the controls one needs. The problem is the fan makes lots of noise. Cannot be used in a small and quite area. Rockville should replace the fan with a quite one. I bought it for a client but was very embarrassed with the fan noise as this was going to be used in a small temple.
