    Good buy, but no power supply was included.

    I bought this player second hand for a neighbor who has started dialysis. He likes it a lot. It sounds good, is light and easy to carry around, has a bass boost feature and (for now) runs on two AA batteries.

    One more of a good thing.

    It works for me. Whether sitting and relaxing or on a treadmill, I can listen to stories, lectures, etc. I had purchased a recently made model (not the same brand) that malfunctioned within a week, and decided to purchase the tried and true Walkman model that I had known and loved from my past. The Walkman still works and is still wonderful.

    Sony portable CD players are superior.

    The ability to easily navigate to a specific location, on a specific track is wonderful! I didn't realize that it wasn't inherent to all portable players until I used a different brand of player. It is very nice that it doesn't skip with each bump as some other brands do. But I did notice that it is more sensitive to scratches, CD which will play smoothly on my car player.

    Sony walkman/discman timeless classic

    I have been an audiophile for about forty five years. I've seen reel to reel to cassette decks to 8 tracks. The portable CD player has been a great advance in great sound quality with portability. Sony has been in the lead since the walkman. The discman continues that fine tradition. Ease of use, good quality, and great sound. A definite buy for those that have CDs and want to play their CDs anywhere at anytime.

    Old school CD player saves me money!

    Streaming services costs money and I have my own collection of CDs and can borrow CDs from my local library for free. I can connect this player to my portable speaker or earphones and enjoy music or listen to my books. It’s old school, but if you add how much it costs for streaming services, it’s worth it!

    Walkman

    Great sound, simple to operate. It came with an automobile ready 12 volt adapter so we'll use it when traveling and my tractor/mower also has a 12 volt outlet so it will also be used when mowing our rather large lawn. It also takes AAA batteries for listening while walking around.

    Excellent Personal CD Player

    The player is well designed, closes with a nice "click," I have had several newer players, but this has been the best. First one I had was abandoned by my son. That one lasted me for years. I especially like that it is very efficient. New CD player replacements have cost me many more batteries! I assume this player is no longer being manufactured. Too bad!
