Big sound, small package
I bought this amp looking for something which would be easy to carry around, which the Katana is. I wanted an amp which would provide a great clean sound with plenty of power and take external effects well. The Katana hits the nail on the head! It's got quite a few built in effects like chorus, delays, etc. but the only onboard effects I use are the reverbs, which sound great. There are a lot of power and sound options I've yet to explore, honestly. If this amp did nothing beyond what I've already described I'd be more than happy. Versatile and can get incredibly LOUD. If you don't want to even screw with it this is your meat. Just grab your favorite speaker cab and plug this into it. Prety much any tone you could need programmed it. Direct out sends and USB to run to the mainboard to allow sound engineer control, and the optional foot switch bank allows you to choose any of eight presets you upload to the amp. Boss Katana 100 watt head.
This amp head is totally awesome. Fully loaded and easy to program. Small and light weight but packs a massive punch when it comes to tone and power. The foot switch pedal is a must have accessory but you gotta get it separately. 5 watts , 50 watts and 100 watts right at your fingertips.
