"Ivy the Kiwi?" is perhaps one of the most unique and adorable games I ever played. The premise of the game is to help baby Ivy find her mom by guiding her safely to the goal platform of each stage within the time limit. To do this, the player, who has no control over Ivy herself (who simply will keep walking at a brisk pace until she hits something, causing her to turn around), must point, click, and hold, using the Wii Remote to create, stretch and even swing, vines while creating them, in order to not just create a safe or efficient path for Ivy, but to also create walls and ceilings to both herd Ivy and shield her from the various hazards found within each stage. There's a slight puzzle element involved to the game as well when considering that you can only have 3 vines in play at a time. When a fourth vine is made, the oldest vine wilts and disappears, which can cause things to end badly for Ivy if you're not careful. For even more fun, two players can work together to help Ivy by using a second Wii Remote (each player's vines do not count against the other's three vine at a time, limit). The game also features a competitive mode for up to four players. The game is as easy or difficult as the player wants it to be. If you just want to enjoy the game and help Ivy find her mother, getting to the goal platform is rather easy. The real challenge lies within going out of your way to obtain the ten red feathers scattered across each stage. Regardless of how you choose to play This entirely amazing experience is complimented by wonderful, although repetitive, music, backed by an adorable children's storybook look and feel.Read full review
