Slight delay in image recording
Excellent video image, however there is a slight delay in capture. Even with the highest sensitivity level, I often catch a person walking away versus walking toward the cameras. Also, for some reason, the remote internet/wifi alert to my smart phone and iPad do not work when I am a distance/miles away from the Arlo base station. They are a bit pricey, too. Good product for the cost
These cameras are decent quality for the cost. I bought the 3 camera system. The set up was relatively easy though I did have some trouble with the third camera. It kept saying it wasn't connected to the internet before it finally worked. The image from the cameras are pretty good and the alarm notifications are are always quick. Simple and responsive
Works as advertised. Very simple to set up, probably the easiest network of any kind that I've set up in my 54 years! Cues my phone via email within as little as 4 seconds. Image quality is fine set on middle setting. I suppose if u want the best image to give police u would want to set it at the highest. Couple false alarms on highest motion setting and there is a 1 or 2 second delay b4 the recording starts but not a problem really. Battery life unknown yet but hey when a thing is wireless, it's gonna use batteries up a lot. I will be buying rechargeables when the original sets get low. outside cameras gives false alarms
You will get a lot of false alarms regardless of settings. Also there is no tech support just user forums. No support from Netscape. Btw this is not my first alarm system. Bought it because of the wireless setup. Works great inside but doesn't work good for outdoor use. use of product
I think that this is a good product for the money. I have a residence where I am only there a few days a week. I had some difficulty in syncing the camera to the base station. Possibly I did not read the instructions well enough. You need to hit a switch on the side of the unit first and then the camera. I went on you tube and was able to correct my problem. Great product for the price! The only issue I had was re-registering the base unit. I had to contact Netgear and took about an hour. Once that was done..setting up the system was a breeze. The motion detection could be improved and there is a lag in recording but I was aware of these issues prior to purchasing.
