The Heart Of The Sword disc was missing or skipping one episode. So, I once again ran to the store to purchase that disc specifically. Also one more thing, just like since the very original releases, the original ending is not in the "last" episode or in a deleted scene section. Unless, I'm just dumb or blind.

Love the series and item arrived in great new condition as described, but when I checked out all the discs, a few were defective. For example, trying to select the menu options on one of the disc's causes the entire player to freeze and you cannot change language options. Another disc won't show an entire episode because it freezes and the skips after opening credits to the closing credits. :( Bad luck with this purchase.

Rurouni Kenshin Complete Series Box Set Review: I paid more money for this rare box set than I normally would and was a little disappointed when it arrived. First off, the only thing that was sealed was the entire box set itself. The three sets inside were not sealed at all. Second, and most importantly, was the set-up of the DVDs themselves inside. Instead of having a nice sliding format or a fold-open box, the DVDs were stacked-up on top of each other in the center. In fact, when I opened one set a disc fell out. Third was the flimsy material that was used in the big box. While this is a regular downside in anime box sets this one was especially cheap material for such a high cost. It already has a dent in it. My last disappointment is kind of nitpicky but there were absolutely no extras that came with this. I wasn’t expecting anything based on the description but it’s always nice when you open it up and see a collector’s pin or even a T-shirt. Now of course the most important part is how the DVDs play and as far as I know all of them play perfectly (I’ve only tested two). This is why even with all the glitches, I am still quite happy to own one of my favorite anime series. Also the seller did a GREAT job with packaging. It was in perfect condition when it arrived. I guess in the end I’d only recommend buying this if you are a big Kenshin fan or you really like collecting anime things.Read full review
I loved this product. It is so hard to find this particular series in completion. The only issue I had was the first disc of season two played out of order. It started with the first episode, went to the fourth, then the third, then second. I also love the outtakes and liner notes.

would be 5 stars if it wasnt missing parts of at least one important episode. The part when Sanosuke is learning the techniques from Anji is missing. Huge disappointment. I feel like there were other bits missing but cant recall specifics. I know there were a couple jumps in the storyline from missing parts.
