Wow the xeon X5670 is Amazing!!
I went from a W3450 to this bad boy X5670 and for the price it is a massive upgrade. You can see a huge difference in performance. The computer definitely booted faster. Desktop was loaded before I even turned my monitor on. This upgraded a sever PC Dell precision T3500. Tho I'm using it as a gaming PC xeon performs surprisingly well!! Great value in a 6-core CPU
Was looking to upgrade a 2010 Mac Pro from a quad core to a 6 core for better performance. Choices were X5670, X5680 and X5690. Comparing features and clock speeds, the price of the X5670 ($50) outweighed the slight performance increases of the 4x more expensive X5690.
