Missing Thermal Conductor
I am been a mechanic for over 20 years. This is the only ignition module I have purchased or used in that time that does not come with the thermal paste. The paste is essential. Even the instructions in the box say so but there was none. Parts stores don't carry it so I had to go to best buy. I am starting to think that maybe I should just have gone to the local parts store and purchased one.

Not SMP! Original Engine Management Brand Part
Put this in my car and it misfired so bad the the engine began to knock. My advice is to buy a quality part from a trusted source instead. Standard Motor Parts label was pasted over another label on Original Engine Management brand box... part was OEM. SMP is not affiliated with them.
