Great product work very well as this is my second Dorman Actuator they work good,but they need to be made of metal gears in side of them and they would never wear out ! But there cheep enough to replace I have read a lot of reviews and all wish they were made with metal gears because this part is on a lot of chev and my Impala has had 2 of the same one replaced now less then 2 years and the car is a 2008 and I love the car just not this recouring problem lets hope some one inproves this problem soon.

The plastic gears in these blend door actuators tend to wear out after a few years, so replacing them periodically is a fact of life if you plan to keep your car for more than a year or two. Installation is fairly easy with basic hand tools and the quality is at least as good as the original at about half the price. This particular actuator was less expensive even than a rebuild kit so choosing it was a 'no-brainer'.

Half the price of local auto stores and performs just as well. Bought for '07 Impala which I hear and read has issues with these going out faster then normal. So in the end at least I only paid half the cost for the same quality. Install was tight but simple. Works as expected.

Good quality product and much cheaper than getting from the part store. I ended up buying a second one because the passenger side went out a day after I received this part but I definitely felt comfortable ordering the same part again as this part fits both sides and once the one side goes there is a high probability of the second side going soon after. But the one I have replaced so far works great.
