  • Chrome Housing Headlight+Bumper+Corner Light for 95-01 Ford Explorer

The OEM headlight on my daughters 2001 Ford Explorer XLT were showing their age...i.e. severe yellowing and road blast producing poor light quality, projection and distance... So, I ordered these. The lights were reasonably priced and came intact and as advertised... Dimensions and fit were exactly as OEM... The only thing that prevents me from rating them a 5 is the over all quality of the lights... They are not of the same robustness of the OEM's... Thinner and lighter plastic, just not as tough as the OEM's... But, of course, you're not paying OEM price either!!! As long as you're careful about installation and don't try and muscle them in or stress them, you and they will be fine... Vertical adjustment rod could have been a little longer, it barely protrudes through the access hole... They are crystal clear and brightens the whole car up... Daughter now call her car "bright eyes". With a decent set of lights and proper adjustment, they do project a good amount of light and wide beam spread... Nothing like an HID with projectors, but a huge improvement from the old faded OEM's for short money... Installment tips: Do yourself a favor if installing on an Explorer... Remove the grill, upper plastic cover and any plastic that gets in your way... gives you all the room you need, saves your hands, and minimizes the chance of braking anything... Worth the extra effort! Cheers!
