Ipad 5 Air protection means a SUPCASE Beetle Defense Case
My son broke the screen and on-off switch on his Ipad Air 2 that had a protective case on it that apparently did not work too well. I replaced it with an Ipad 5 Air and searched for a better protective case. Thise search led me to the Supcase Beetle Defense Full body protective case on Ebay. It is a bit harder to insert the Ipad into than I expected, but with the help of a sewing machine screwdriver it goes on and comes off with ease. It fits the Ipad like a second skin with bumps in all the right places to protect the device. My son is very pleased with it--he likes the way it looks, how it fits so tight, and the screen protector that came with the case. Slim, Tough, Good Deal - but you have to trim the soft Home button cover if you want to use your fingerprint scan.
This case is strong, has a screen protector and is also slim enough to fit into a cheaper universal case that I have, for sitting up my tablet for watching videos, etc. Thr only problem is that the protective cover of the home button prohibits you from using your fingerprint scan. The port cover for headset access does not stay closed. Keeps piping open. It is hard to lock the screen when finished viewing because the lock button requires a lot of pressure to activate. Other than that it’s decent for the price.
