better than expected
it does have nice sound and it's pretty much easy to use but the controls on the front have to be pushed in with some pressure, if you barely push in on the controls they will not work. I really can't answer fairly about the battery life, i have not listened to my music, that i downloaded, longer than 2 hours as of yet, and the battery meter has not moved very much maybe about a bar is all that i can say, hope this helps. My big pet peeve is that once you turn off the mp3 and then turn it back on the music starts at the very beginning, a good mp3 player will start back up at the last song that you were listening to. I do like the fact that you control the equalizer, very nice quality on any mp3 player! Navigating to remove songs is kind of a pain! And no matter what you have the volume on while listening to the mp3 player, once you turn it off and then back on be warned, it always goes back to it's preset number 20! and it is LOUD! I really bought this in a pinch because my fave mp3 player and i could not afford a better one, at the time. It's only a 4G so it will not hold a ton of music, which is a little bit disappointed, but again, the price was a great deal and i certainly like how lightweight it is, just wish it had a sport clip on itVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Insultingly bad! Virtually unusable.
Such poor functionality and only 5 years old! Avoid this if you can! The pros: The silver metal casing is nice. Price? The cons: The buttons! There's a button labeled "volume" that doesn't have up/down options. It just says "volume" and doesn't do anything. The back-skip button doesn't back-skip. The play/pause button doesn't pause. The menu! You can't see songs that are playing or look through folders. Headphones fall apart within an hour of use. You'll need to turn the device on/off to get back to the main menu, because there's no way to go back to the main menu after playing a song! The Power switch! There's an on/off switch that's a poorly-fitting plastic slider. It will become dislodged quickly. File transfer! This thing takes about 1 minute to transfer a 2 minute song. I pity anyone that's actually putting 4G of music on there! This is not a good product, regardless of your use. You will struggle to play songs. It's even a poor storage device!
