  • Tiffin Book Review

This book goes above and beyond to give you an extensive picture library of all the items and designs in the company's line of products. I found it very helpful. I have alway wanted to own this book. I would borrow it from the library until they didn't carry it any more. If you collect or sell this is an invaluable resource to have. it is helpful to know what you are buying and to list accurate listing. Without it you may pass up important pieces to your collection that you may never see locally again. I know I did. This type of glass is not just depression glass. It is Elegant glass from the 1920's & 30's. This type of glassware would have been what the finer department stores carried. Only very few people could shop at these stores during this hard time in history. And so it is not glassware that was made for the masses like ordinary depression glass. The book is filled with archival black and white pictures, detailed etching pictures to know the patterns, as well as colored pictures, and the history of the company. Truly one of my favorite books in my glassware library. There is in these type of reference books pictures and info that is still not out there on the internet. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
