Excellent bulb(needed 4 for kitchen) great value!!
I purchased this bulb for an area that had 4 recessed cans. The starter kit came with hub and what I was told were preprogrammed bulbs, no scanning a barcode. Great. Those 3 were found by app and offered to add them. Again great. The fourth bulb I scanned the bar code, then went to sengled app, selected add bulb, it search and found the bulb. Done. Remember you have to alexa, add hub, grant it permissions, the thru Alexa app add hub( again, after you grant permissions) the app found the sengled hub and the 4 bulbs! Make sure to use the 2.4 band from your router, for both the hub, and your phone network. I've got the Philip's Hue hub, and now the sengled hub. The Philip's hue hub is easy to setup, where the sengled is simple. Cost factor is the sengled bulbs slightly higher than standard bulbs like the br30 these are led, longer life span, and use 11 watts. The led bulbs can be found for 10-12 dollars, where the hue bulbs are 30-40 each!! Though I could return the hues starter pack. I'm going to keep it to see a real comparison between the two. The single light is the new light. In the four it's the 9 o'clock I would definitely recommend this product!

Love it but...
This bulb is well made and brighter than what I expected. The only thing I did not like is that I thought this bulb did not need a separate “hub” for it to function with my google home assistant, which I bought it specifically for it. But now I’ll be purchasing the sengled hub just so I can not fee like I bought an expensive regular lightbulb. Lol But other than that issue the bulb is awesome.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
